Memorial Awards and Scholarships

Bernard O. Cross Memorial Award

The club has continued to promote sailing and to support the youth of Swampscott since its founding. In recent years the Club has helped sponsor the town’s Sailing Program and each year awards the Bernard O. Cross Memorial Award to the program’s top sailor.

Lucky Williams Scholarship

Each year the Club also awards the Lucky Williams Scholarship to a graduating member of Swampscott High School.
